
..HON. ESEWEZIE SET TO IMPROVE POWER SUPPLY WITH ACQUISITION OF TRANSFORMERS FOR OSHIMILI NORTH COMMUNITIES
Poor electricity supply is set to be a thing of the past with Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area set to wade into power supply challenges in the LGA with the acquisition of transformers currently in the pipeline which has led to ite-ego community landlords pledging their support to the Delta State Governor, RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori come 2025.
The Council Chairman made this revelation during a visit to Ite-ego / Umuezeagwu New Layout. The visit allowed the landlords to highlight their challenges thereby calling on the Council to extend support in resolving them. Some of the challenges reported include security challenges, lack of electricity, no street lights and bad roads
The Landlords assured of their support during the next election to enable the People’s Democratic Party emerge victorious. Speaking through Mr . Awolo Henry Afam, the Landlord association chairman, they also commended the Council Chairman for yielding to their call and for the numerous projects he’s spreading all over the LGA.

In his response, Hon. Esewezie commended them for the coordination amongst them. He noted that the LGA under his watch would acquire transformers for different communities to help improve electricity supply in the local government starting with the Umuezeagwu New Layout / Ite-ego streets which is the fastest developing area in the LGA.
Hon. Esewezie commended them for sorting security efforts of the LGA which has helped reduce insecurity in the area and improved economic activities. In his words: “You have contributed in the security of this community and you have contributed in the growth of the local economy” He said.
He called for patience on the state of Ite-ego road noting that it has been drawn to the governments attention which means that relief will come soon. He beckoned on them to make him happy by giving their total support to Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori noting that without the support of the Governor, he would not have the chance to perform well.
