AS Leaders and Stakeholders Embrace Unity, Endorse Confidence Vote, and Launch Integration Drive
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State has officially passed a vote of implicit confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori. At a well-attended stakeholders meeting held on Monday at Camp Benjamin, Obior, the party unanimously adopted both leaders as its preferred candidates for the 2027 presidential and gubernatorial elections.
Presiding over the meeting, the APC LGA Chairman, Sir Mathew Chinye, welcomed attendees with a call for peace, harmony, and unity principles he described as essential for the party’s growth. He urged members to set aside past grievances and work together in building a stronger, more inclusive APC in Aniocha North.
In strong support, His Excellency, Chief Benjamin Elue, former Deputy Governor of Delta State, praised the chairman’s message, affirming that it captured the core of the party’s mission. He described the gathering as a “new beginning,” emphasizing that there is nothing greater than peace and harmony in politics.
