The Aniocha North Local Government Area, in collaboration with Mosra Energy Limited, has flagged off its Youth Empowerment Programme aimed at equipping young people with tools and opportunities for self-reliance.
The initiative, which includes the distribution of start-up packs, is designed to support beneficiaries in launching small-scale businesses, fostering innovation, and reducing unemployment within the local government area.
In a major show of support, Uncle Tony Elumelu and the immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, each donated ₦100,000 to further assist beneficiaries of the empowerment scheme.
Speaking at the event, local government officials emphasized the administration’s commitment to youth development, stressing that the partnership with Mosra Energy Limited will create sustainable pathways for economic growth and community development.
The empowerment scheme is expected to touch multiple sectors, providing young entrepreneurs with both the resources and training needed to thrive in today’s competitive economy.
