The Oshimili North Local Government Area Council, under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, has commenced free intensive JAMB lessons for students across various communities in the LGA, as part of efforts to improve academic performance and expand access to educational opportunities.

The initiative follows the recent approval of free JAMB registration for 500 students from Oshimili North and is designed to adequately prepare candidates for the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The lessons are being conducted in designated centres across the Local Government to ensure wide participation and accessibility.
Students have been encouraged to take full advantage of the programme, as it will not only enhance their chances of success in JAMB but also serve as part of the screening process for scholarships under the Oshimili North Grants and Scholarship Board. The Board has previously supported several students through similar interventions.
For further inquiries and participation details, interested candidates may contact Comrade Ikechukwu on 08038632961 or Comrade Ikebuwa on 08154863771. The Council reaffirmed its commitment to investing in education as a key pillar of youth development and human capital growth in Oshimili North.
