The Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, on Wednesday hosted a special reception in honour of the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, as she marked her 56th birthday.
The event, which held in Issele-Uku, was attended by political leaders, women groups, youth representatives, and community stakeholders. Deaconess Oborevwori was represented at the occasion by Ezinne Lady Catherine, wife of the Deputy Governor of Delta State.
As part of the celebration, the Local Government distributed gift items to 100 vulnerable persons and provided 500 school bags to pupils across selected primary schools, in line with the administration’s commitment to social welfare and educational support.
In his remarks, Hon. Chinye described the First Lady as a compassionate leader whose philanthropic activities, particularly through the You Matter Charity Foundation, have continued to positively impact lives across Delta State. He noted that the gesture reflected the values of servant leadership, unity, peace, and inclusive development championed by the First Lady.
